I love being a woman. From the mental to the physical.
I love the way my legs look in high heels.
I love the way my nails look after a manicure, I love the way I smell after a shower. I love my walk, my laugh, my talk. My skin tone, my shake, my wiggle, my jiggle.
I love that I am not perfect, but that, in my eyes, I am perfect. I love being a part of a sisterhood, I love that Maya believes I am phenomenal. I love that I believe I am phenomenal.
I love that I am a mother, faithfully. I love that I am a faithful wife. I love that I am my mothers’ daughter. I am happy with my hair, my flair, and if others don’t like me, I am happy that I don’t care.
I love the fact that I can fly without ever leaving the ground. I love the fact that I am a woman, a sexy, sensual, hell of a woman.
I love the fact that I can cry, without worrying about my ego. I love the fact that my older sister calls me her She-ro. I love that I am a caregiver, a provider, and an independent woman by day. And, at night I can fall into my husbands arms and let him take care of me in his special way.
I love being a woman.
I love my tenacity and strength, my attitude, my resilience, my perseverance. The fact that I am a role model to little girls. An inspiration to young women. And an ever evolving work of art to myself, I am a woman, I can learn while I teach, take heed while I preach, give advice without admonition, and take advice with vision.
I love that when I walk out of the door, I represent a sisterhood, a tribe, with no specific color, religion, class, or position, just women. Beautiful, soft, strong, in some cases fractured, but never broken, women.
And that is why I love being a woman.

I love your commentary on being a woman and the fullfillment that you have recieved and will continue to recieve. You are a true representation of what strong, determined, and well balanced means and I am so glad that you are in my world and the lives of others that you are so deeply touching not just wowen and girls but the men who need a powerful strong woman who is true to herself.
