Liam Fahy Spring 2013 “Congo” Collection

Audrey Hepburn’s 1951 movie “African Queen”, hosiery from the 1920’s, and leather sword belts are just some of the inspirations behind the Spring 2013 collection from Liam Fahy.

Charlotte (Java Print)

ELLE (Javaprint)

“We have traveled quite far with this collection and are using hand printed Java-textiles from Tanzania & Zimbabwe, Congolese mask designs, furry pompoms, watersnake and even bra clips” — Liam

Adora (Burgundy suede)

Chloe (Elbamatt)

Veva (watersnake)

Lis (Elbamatt)

The bright vivid Java print seen on “Charlotte” is such a beautiful material. I have both “Charlotte” and “Adora” on my “please, fairy shoe mother” wish list.
