Normally for the high heels low heel I pick a group of high heels of various prices based on a certain criteria (e.g. floral). Well, by request I am going to add another criteria to the list. . . similarities. Actually, I was asked to take a designer high heel and find an exact duplicate in a lower price range. And while, I definitely could do something like that or get a close enough match because, the design houses set the trends that everyone will copy; I have decided just to compare two heels based on my close enough method.
The Color Similarities:
Giuseppe Zanotti’Jake’ caged platform pumps
Colors: Purple / Yellow / Red
Jeweled suede upper – Caged vamp – Decorative buckles and zip closure at back – jeweled covered heel
The 5 3/4-inch heels retail for around $1275.
Aldo “Lenord”
Colors: Purple / Yellow / Red
Multi-strap upper – Back counter piece with zipper closure. The 5 inch heels retail for $70.
So, with my choice I was going for (as the title reads) similar colors. Sure, the Giuseppe Zanotti heel is brighter however, I also like the muted color of the Aldo heel. The great thing is that the high heels have other similarities while, not being an exact copy. I tend to prefer similarities to exact copies. What do you think of my choice?
