Every year VH1 salutes rap’s musical, political, and cultural impact with Hip Hop Honors, and the 2009 did so by honoring the incredible legacy of Def Jam records. It aired on VH1, Tuesday, October 13 2009.
One of the highlights of the show was a reunion of Ashanti and Ja Rule.
Ashanti walked the red carpet in a pair of Louis Vuitton Cancan thigh highs boots.
The boots have a 4″ heel and retail for $3,370.00
Later, when she took the stage she changed her outfit and shoes
She wore Givenchy Western platform sandals.
The sandals have a 4.7 inch heel and retailed for 1,620.00. The sandals are now on sale for 649.23.
