The Accessories Council Excellence Awards (ACE Awards) took place in New York City on November 2, 2009. The designers were in attendance, Barbie dolls in stilettos were part of the centerpieces, and a Fendi Bike went up for auction.

Nine West’s Fred Allard won the influencer award, Zappos.com received the retailer of the year award (presented by Betsey Johnson), and the Style maker Award went to pop sensation, Lady GaGa.

As always, Lady GaGa, known for her unusual and interesting (though another word choice would fit in nicely) fashion, did not disappoint.

The focus here, if you can, are the heels. She wore a pair from the John Galliano Spring/Summer 2010 collection. For this collection, Galliano was inspired by “old Hollywood glamour” The platform heels are adorned with lace, silk, bows, and feathers. The heels of the shoes are a string of pearls.
