An Evening of “Southern Style” was presented by the St. Bernard Project and Britney Spears on May 11, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California. The mission of the St. Bernard Project is to create housing opportunities so that Hurricane Katrina survivors can return to their homes and communities. Britney Spears, who is a native of Louisiana, has teamed up with the St. Bernard Project to bring the families back home. The event included a sit-down dinner of fine Southern cuisine, featuring traditional Louisiana dishes straight from the kitchen of the Spears family.
Unfortunately, though Britney was the host her heels did not make the cut for this edition of celebrity heels. There are three other young women who came out to show their support, who did.
Kim Kardashian pair her dress with a green pair of Gucci’s Kelis sandals. The sandals feature a metallic python ankle strap, a back zip closure and a metallic 4-inch resin heel.
Hilary Duff walked the red carpet event in a pair of beige ankle straps from Lanvin. The pebbled leather pumps feature a brown leather wraparound ankle strap with single pin buckle and studded pull-through tab at sides. The 4.75 inch heels retail for around $1050.
Lastly, Victoria Justice arrived wearing a pair of nude heels from Brian Atwood. The opened toe platform pump have chain detail and a 5.5inch heel.
