Lara Bohinc grew up in Slovenia. She later moved to London to study jewelry and metalwork at the Royal College of Art. She received her MA in 1996. The following year, she debuted her collection at London Fashion Week, won the New Generation Design Award. She has, in the past, collaborated with Gucci, Costume National, Lanvin, Exte, Guy Laroche, Marcus Lupfer and Julien McDonald, and is a freelance consultant for Cartier International. Her new website with e-commerce will launch in spring 2011.
