The largest fashion show in New York City’s history, took place at the Lincoln Center. The event was entitled, “Fashion Night Out: The Show”. The show featured 200 models and there were more than 1,500 guests at the event. Leighton Meester was one of the many celebrity guests who came to the show.
Leighton arrived wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin “Venus Orlato” ankle boots. The metallic suede lace-up ankle boots feature an electric purple highlight, solid suede trim, a 5 inch heel and retail for around $1290.
CBS was behind the scene filming the event for an upcoming special. The special will air September 14 at 10 p.m. It will be hosted by actor Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother). The special will will capture the months of intense planning and preparation, then track the night itself as it unfolds across New York City, the country and the globe. It will also focus on individuals and the fashion industry as a whole trying to survive in these tough economic times.

When I saw this I hated them at first, but they very quickly grew on me. There’s just something about them.
I loved those shoes the moment I laid eyes on them, on the Louboutin website, when they initially came out. Not a fan of the dress she chose to wear the shoes with.
I love the shoes of Leighton though the dress is not really my favorite but those glittery shoes are LOVE
