Both fashion houses (Prada and Fendi) had their shows on February 25, 2010 in Milan.
Prada
Prada’s fall 2010 footwear collection is reminiscent of the sixties (actually the entire collection was).

The shoes are very colorful.

The closed toe heels are practical and low enough to be worn by the professional woman on the job to add a little punch of color to her wardrobe. The sandals are cute for an afternoon lunch with the girls. What do you think?
Fendi
Karl Lagerfeld’s Fendi fall 2010 footwear can be described in one word . . . disappointing.
The shoes are very country (From Fendi I was expecting sexy, daring, at least, pretty).

The boots really aren’t that bad. What is upsetting are those ribbed rubber toe caps he put on the Mary Jane heels. The purple satin and black rubber toe cap . . . do not a pretty shoe make.
Your thoughts?

i don’t mind the ribbed rubber toe. it’s good to be different sometime. Besides, with the right counter-culture edgy outfit, those ribbed rubber toe heels could set something off just right.
@a star . . . it’s hard to imagine. Maybe for the black suede Mary Jane but that purple satin . . seeing is believing.
girle the purple satin with a purple satin pencial skirt and a black lace botton top. And a purple silk cami under with some 40inc white pearls. wow im steaming just thinking about it. I love clothes. lol i derss like a tom boy jeans and t- shirt.
@ Jeanette . . . okay okay. I needed to have more of an open mind. There are outfits that those shoes could be worn with.
Thanks for visual.
You dress like a tomboy but love fashion?
