Ivanka Expands Résumé to Include Shoe Designer
Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald Trump, already has an impressive résumé. She was a model, is VP of her father’s real estate corporation and she owns a fine jewelry line (among other endeavors). It was recently announced that Ivanka has signed a deal with Marc Fisher Footwear to create a new line of shoes.
Marc Fisher said in a statement, “We believe Ivanka has something fresh and distinctive to offer in what is otherwise a celebrity-saturated market. She has substance, a successful career and fashionable life that is appealing to all women.”
Chanel’s Trompe L’Oeil
Karl Lagerfeld has created a line of Chanel transfers. They are removable tattoos that wrap around the leg. The transfers are in the shape of chains with floral decorations and the brands’ logo. The transfers will be available March 1st in Chanel stores world wide and cost $60 (us dollars).

The Cinderella Syndrome
On January 29, 2010, on the rooftop patio of Q by Pasquale Studio, the world’s first collection of glass shoes will debut. With a select group of media, celebrities , designers, and stylists on hand, 100 pairs of glass evening shoes (some with 24 carat gold details) will be revealed.
