Canadian based designer, Abel Muñoz has released a preview of his upcoming Spring 2010 collection of women’s shoes.
Muñoz who studied at Toronto at Sarah Rotering’s Shoe Studio and the ARS Arpel Institute of Shoe and Accessory Design in Milan, drew on his memories of growing up in Costa Rica, as inspiration for his second women’s collection.
Muñoz began his career as a graphic designer, working at a number of agencies in Latin America and North America. In 2005, he became Deputy Art Director of the fashion and luxury lifestyles publications FQ Fashion Quarterly and SIR.
In 2007, he launched his own label.
The collection, which is made in Italy, is set to retail for between $400 and $650.
