Jimmy Choo has said he believes she will become the next biggest thing in shoe design.
Beatrix Ong was born in 1976 in London, England. At an young age her family moved to Hong Kong, where she lived until she was sixteen, after which she went back to England.
She has studied at both The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and the Cordwainers College of London.
At age 22, she became creative Director at Jimmy Choo Couture.
In 2002, Ong launched her own self-named shoe label.
