Betsey Johnson is known for feminine and whimsical designs. Her career in fashion began when she entered and won the Mademoiselle Guest Editor contest.
In 1978 she started her own fashion line.
In 2002 she was inducted into the Fashion Walk of Fame.
In 2003 she added new accessories to her clothing line. This included my favorites. . .shoes.
Betsey Johnson is a survivor of breast cancer. She is also a advocate in the fight against the disease.
